Private Equity Internship - Vance Street Capital

Interned at a private equity firm managing over $1B in assets under management, with an investment thesis centered on technology-driven B2B companies. During the internship, I worked directly with the deal team to source and evaluate more than 15 potential acquisition targets, conducting market research and preliminary due diligence to identify high-growth opportunities across the medical and aerospace sectors.
In addition to deal sourcing, I led a data-driven analysis of Vance Street's existing portfolio, working through more than 10,000 data points to uncover growth opportunities and operational inefficiencies in the HR division. The experience gave me hands-on exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from initial screening through portfolio value creation.
