Pediatric Cardiology Internship - UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital

As an intern, I modeled five pediatric hearts in MeshMixer from patient CT and MRI scans to support experimental stent implantation. In addition to this modeling work, I co-authored a research report that drew on medical literature to help inform the development of an FDA-approved biodegradable stent. I also volunteered at the clinic and formed relationships with patients.
